Critical reflection

Definition:

Critical reflection is the process of observing and analyzing your fundamental assumptions, beliefs, and models of reality from a safe and non-judgmental space: and identifying how they shape your thoughts and behavior.

How it transforms you:

According to the University of Toronto critical reflection is the foundational element for personal growth.
